At a Tiller Beckonfield show you can expect to hear a wide variety of songs from different genres of music, all performed in a very authentic sounding way.

Here’s a video, recorded at Meals on Wheels’ 60th Anniversary party in Syracuse, NY.

And here’s a video of an original tune written a good, long while ago

About (continued)

Guitarist / Singer / Songwriter Tiller Beckonfield started playing solo acoustic gigs in the mid 90’s mostly as a way to keep playing when he wasn’t with a band.

Ever since the late 80’s Tiller has been a lead guitarist in many rock, country, and country-rock bands, as well as early R&B and Motown influenced bands, in and around the Southern Tier of New York and Northern PA. The Tiller Show set list is an amalgam of all of those influences, as well as a fair amount of 70’s acoustic / folk-rock.

The Tiller Show came about after the addition of Tiller’s son, Dalton, to the show. Dalton brings all of his experience as a drummer in alt-rock and progressive rock-influenced bands in addition to strong vocal harmonies that blend well with his Pops. The percussion Dalton uses for the show is well balanced by using a djembe along with an electric kick drum.

With the show delivered through a Bose L1 sound system, it makes for a sound that is quite big, even when lower volumes are required, making it suitable for smaller gatherings or crowds of up to 500.
